Roadrunner April 12, 2003 This is the best comalation album of the year in my veiw Roadrunner rules
The old and the new April 12, 2003 Roadrunner Records have done it again, releasing one more album following in all of their history of rock and metal's most popular bands' footsteps. Except this one is different. did you like all of RR's old school bands? Like the present works? This CD is the ticket to best they have to offer. It features ten tracks from bands that came and left their impact on the metal world including King Diamond, Deicide, Obituary, and recent departures Fear Factory, who undoubtedly made their mark on Industrial Metal. The new compilation also includes previously unreleased material from Stone Sour and Murderdolls, with new remix's by Slipknot and Ill Nino. this CD is awesome, I highly recommend it to anyone who loves metal and the bands that have been on Roadrunner. Rock On.
One of the best cds of '03 April 12, 2003 If anyone digs good metal music, I reccomend picking up this album. This will be a cd that'll still be running in my cd player 70 years from now.
What more needs to be said? April 12, 2003 Roadrunner's sampler is amazing. It gives us the works of the oldschool masters like fear factory and sepultura as well as new music masters chiamera and stone sour. There's mellow-ish rockers as well as screaming meanies like slipknot. Roadrunner has given us an awesome sampler of their artists as well as a great example of the music current rock fans should be familiar with.
What else do you really need to know? April 12, 2003 I mean, my God, look at the track list! Who wouldn't want this album...you have the old-school masters like Sepultura and Fear Factory mixed with those wonders of modern rock like murderdolls and stone dour. The album has mellow rockers as well as screaming meanies (Slipknot's spit it out, for example) Roadrunner has put together an excellent sampling of their musicians as well as an excellent example of what modern rock fans should be listening to. I suggest checking out the chiamera track, it's my personal favorite.
